தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; அவன் கர்த்தருடைய வாக்கை உரைத்த எரேமியா என்கிற தீர்க்கதரிசிக்கு முன்பாகத் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தவில்லை.

சிதேக்கியா கர்த்தருடைய விருப்பப்படி செயல்களைச் செய்யவில்லை. சிதேக்கியா கர்த்தருக்கு எதிராகப் பாவம் செய்தான். எரேமியா என்ற தீர்க்கதரிசி கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து செய்தியைச் சொன்னான். ஆனால் சிதேக்கியா பணிவடையாமல் எரேமியாவின் பேச்சைக் கேட்கவில்லை.

அவன் கடவுளாம் ஆண்டவரின் பார்வையில் தீயனவே செய்தான்; ஆண்டவர் பெயரால் பேசிய இறைவாக்கினர் எரேமியா முன் தன்னையே தாழ்த்திக் கொள்ளவில்லை.
