அவருடைய ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரிலும் எவன் உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறானோ அவன்போகட்டும், அவனுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவனோடிருப்பாராக என்று பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கோரேஸ் அறிவிக்கிறார் என்று, தன் ராஜ்யம் எங்கும் எழுதியனுப்பி விளம்பரம்பண்ணினான்.

அவருடைய மக்கள் எல்லோரிலும் எவன் உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறானோ அவன் போகட்டும், அவனுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவனோடிருப்பாராக என்று பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கோரேஸ் அறிவிக்கிறார் என்று தன் தேசமெங்கும் எழுதியனுப்பி விளம்பரம்செய்தான்.

பெர்சியா அரசனாகிய கோரேசு கூறுவது: பரலோகத்தின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னை பூமி முழுவதற்கும் அரசன் ஆக்கினார். எருசலேமில் அவர் தனக்கொரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டும்படி பொறுப்பளித் துள்ளார். இப்பொழுது தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய நீங்கள் எருசலேமிற்குப் போகும்படி விடுவிக்கிறேன். உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களோடு இருப்பாராக.

“பாரசீக மன்னராகிய சைரசு என்னும் யாம் கூறுவது இதுவே: விண்ணகக் கடவுளாம் ஆண்டவர் மண்ணக அரசுகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் எனக்கு அளித்துள்ளார். மேலும், யூதாவிலுள்ள எருசலேமில் அவருக்குத் திருக்கோவில் எழுப்புமாறு எனக்குப் பணித்துள்ளார். எனவே, அவருடைய மக்களாக இருப்பவர் அங்கு செல்லட்டும்! கடவுளாம் ஆண்டவர் உங்களோடு இருப்பாராக!”
