வெண்கலக் கடல்தொட்டியையும் வார்ப்பித்தான்; சக்கராகாரமான அதினுடைய ஒரு விளிம்புதொடங்கி மறுவிளிம்புமட்டும் பத்துமுழ அகலமும், ஐந்துமுழ உயரமும், சுற்றளவு முப்பதுமுழமுமாயிருந்தது.

பிறகு ஒரு பெரிய தொட்டியைச் செய்ய சாலொமோன் உருக்கிய வெண்கலத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தினான். இது வட்ட வடிவத்தில் ஒரு விளிம்பிலிருந்து மறுவிளிம்புவரை 18 அடி அகலம் கொண்டதாக இருந்தது. 7 1/2 அடி உயரமும், 45 அடி சுற்றளவும் கொண்டிருந்தது.

மேலும், கடல் என்னும் வட்டவடிவமான வெண்கலத் தொட்டியை அவர் வார்ப்பித்தார். அதன் விட்டம் பத்து முழம்; உயரம் ஐந்து முழம்; சுற்றளவு முப்பது முழம்.
