ஆசாப், ஏமான், எதுத்தூனுடைய கூட்டத்தாரும், அவர்களுடைய குமாரர் சகோதரருடைய கூட்டத்தாருமாகிய பாடகரான லேவியரனைவரும் மெல்லியபுடவைகளைத் தரித்து, கைத்தாளங்களையும் தம்புருகளையும் சுரமண்டலங்களையும் பிடித்துப் பலிபீடத்திற்குக் கிழக்கே நின்றார்கள்; அவர்களோடும்கூடப் பூரிகைகளை ஊதுகிற ஆசாரியர்கள் நூற்றிருபதுபேர் நின்றார்கள்.

ஆசாப், ஏமான், எதுத்தூனுடைய கூட்டத்தாரும், அவர்களுடைய மகன்களும் சகோதரருடைய கூட்டத்தாருமாகிய பாடகர்களான லேவியர்கள் அனைவரும் மெல்லிய புடவைகளை அணிந்து, கைத்தாளங்களையும் தம்புருக்களையும் சுரமண்டலங்களையும் பிடித்து பலிபீடத்திற்குக் கிழக்கே நின்றார்கள்; அவர்களோடு பூரிகைகளை ஊதுகிற ஆசாரியர்கள் நூற்றிருபதுபேர் நின்றார்கள்.

லேவியப் பாடகர்கள் அனைவரும் பலிபீடத்தின் கிழக்குப்பகுதியில் நின்றுகொண்டனர். ஆசாப், எமான் மற்றும் எதுத்தூனிய பாடல் குழுவினர் அனைவரும் தமது மகன்களுடனும் உறவினர்களுடனும் அங்கு இருந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் வெண்ணிற மென்மையான ஆடையை அணிந்திருந்தனர். அவர்களிடம் கைத்தாளங்களும் சுரமண்டலங்களும் தம்புருக்களும் இருந்தன. லேவியப் பாடகர்களோடு 120 ஆசாரியர்களும் இருந்தனர். இந்த 120 ஆசாரியர்களும் எக்காளங்களை ஊதினார்கள்.

லேவியப் பாடகர், அதாவது, ஆசாப், ஏமான், எதுத்தூன் என்போரின் புதல்வரும் உறவினரும் மென்துகில் அணிந்து கைத்தாளங்களையும், தம்புருகளையும், யாழ்களையும் இசைத்துப் பலிபீடத்தின் கீழ்த்திசையில் நின்றுகொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அவர்களோடு நூற்றிருபது ஆசாரியர் எக்காளங்களை ஊதிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்.
