பின்பு கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டியைச் சீயோன் என்னும் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுவரும்படி சாலொமோன் இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரையும், கோத்திரப் பிரபுக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் வம்சத் தலைவரெல்லாரையும் எருசலேமிலே கூடிவரச்செய்தான்.

இஸ்ரவேலில் இருக்கிற மூத்தவர்களையும், எல்லாக் கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவர்களையும், குடும்பத் தலைவர்களையும் சாலொமோன் எருசலேமில் ஒன்றாகக் கூட்டினான். தாவீதின் நகரிலிருந்து கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைக் கொண்டுவரவே இவ்வாறு செய்தான். சீயோன் தாவீதின் நகரமாகும்.
