இப்போதும் கர்த்தர் சொல்லிய தமது வார்த்தையை நிறைவேற்றினார்; கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடியே, நான் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் ஸ்தானத்தில் எழும்பி, இஸ்ரவேலுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் நாமத்திற்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி,

இப்போது கர்த்தர் தான் என்ன செய்யப் போவதாகச் சொன்னாரோ அதனைச் செய்து முடித்துவிட்டார். என் தந்தையின் இடத்தில் நான் புதிய அரசனாக இருக்கிறேன். தாவீது என்னுடைய தந்தை. இப்போது நான் இஸ்ரவேலரின் அரசன். இதுதான் கர்த்தர் அளித்த வாக்குறுதி. நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திற்காக ஆலயம் கட்டிவிட்டேன்.

இவ்வாறு, தமது வாக்குறுதியை ஆண்டவர் இப்போது நிறைவேற்றியுள்ளார். முன்பே ஆண்டவர் கூறியிருந்ததுபோல் என் தந்தை தாவீதுக்குப் பின், நான் இஸ்ரயேலின் அரியணையில் அமர்ந்து இஸ்ரயேலின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரின் பெயருக்கென ஒரு கோவிலைக் கட்டியுள்ளேன்.
