அவர் நான் என் ஜனத்தை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின நாள்முதற்கொண்டு, என் நாமம் விளங்கும்படி, ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டுமென்று நான் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய எல்லாக்கோத்திரங்களிலுமுள்ள வேறே யாதொரு பட்டணத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளாமலும், என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் அதிபதியாயிருக்கும்படி வேறே ஒருவரைத்தெரிந்துகொள்ளாமலும்,

‘எகிப்திலிருந்து இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களை வெளியேற்றி அழைத்துக் கொண்டு வந்த நாள் முதலாக நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் எந்த கோத்திரத்திலிருந்தும் என் நாமத்தில் ஒரு வீட்டை கட்டிக்கொள்ள எந்த நகரத்தையும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கவில்லை. என் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களை வழிநடத்திச் செல்ல எந்த தலைவனையும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கவில்லை.
