இருளிலிருந்து வெளிச்சத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கச்சொன்ன தேவன் இயேசுவின் முகத்திலுள்ள தமது மகிமையின் அறிவாகிய ஒளியைத் தோன்றப்பண்ணும்பொருட்டாக, எங்கள் இருதயங்களிலே பிரகாசித்தார்.

இருளில் இருந்து வெளிச்சத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கச்சொன்ன தேவன் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் முகத்தில் உள்ள தமது மகிமையின் அறிவாகிய ஒளியைத் தோன்றப்பண்ணுவதற்காக, எங்களுடைய இருதயங்களிலே பிரகாசித்தார்.

“இருளிலிருந்து வெளிச்சம் பிரகாசிக்கும்” என்று தேவன் ஒருமுறை சொன்னார். எங்கள் இதயங்களில் வெளிச்சத்தை ஏற்படுத்திய தேவனும் இவரே ஆவார். தேவனுடைய மகிமையை கிறிஸ்துவின் முகத்தில் தெரியச் செய்வதன் மூலம் அவர் எங்களுக்கு ஒளியைத் தந்தார்.

திருவிவிலியம்
“இருளிலிருந்து ஒளி தோன்றுக!” என்று சொன்ன கடவுளே எங்கள் உள்ளங்களில் அவரது ஒளியை வீசச் செய்தார். அது கிறிஸ்துவின் திருமுகத்தில் வீசும் கடவுளின் மாட்சியாகிய அறிவொளியே.⒫
