இந்தக் கூடாரத்திலிருக்கிற நாம் பாரஞ்சுமந்து தவிக்கிறோம்; இந்தப் போர்வையைக் களைந்துபோடவேண்டுமென்று விரும்பாமல், மரணமானது ஜீவனாலே விழுங்கப்படுவதற்காகப் போர்வை தரித்தவர்களாயிருக்கவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறோம்.

இந்தக் கூடாரத்தில் இருக்கிற நாம் சுமை சுமந்து தவிக்கிறோம்; இந்தப் போர்வையைக் களைந்து போடவேண்டும் என்று விரும்பாமல், மரணமானது ஜீவனாலே விழுங்கப்படுவதற்காக போர்வை தரித்தவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறோம்.

நம் கூடாரம் போன்ற இந்த சரீரத்தில் வாழும்வரை பாரமுள்ளவர்களாய்த் துன்பப்படுகிறோம். இந்த சரீரத்தை விட்டுவிட வேண்டுமென்று நான் கூறவில்லை. ஆனால் நாம் பரலோக வீட்டால் போர்த்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்றே விரும்புகிறேன். பிறகு அழிவடையும் இந்த சரீரம் உயிருடன் நிறைந்திருக்கும்.

இவ்வுலகக் கூடாரத்தில் குடியிருக்கும் நாம் இந்நிலையைத் தாங்க இயலாமல் பெருமூச்சு விடுகிறோம். இக்கூடாரத்தை விட்டு விலக வேண்டும் என்பதல்ல; மாறாக விண்ணக வீட்டைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பதே நம் விருப்பம். வாழ்வுக்குரியது சாவுக்குரியதைத் தனக்குட்படுத்தும்.
