அவர் நம்மை முத்திரித்து, நம்முடைய இருதயங்களில் ஆவியென்னும் அச்சாரத்தையும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.

அதுவுமல்லாமல், ஆவியின் முதற்பலன்களைப் பெற்ற நாமுங்கூட நம்முடைய சரீரமீட்பாகிய புத்திரசுவிகாரம் வருகிறதற்குக் காத்திருந்து, நமக்குள்ளே தவிக்கிறோம்.

பின்பு, அவர்கள் எஸ்கோல் பள்ளத்தாக்குமட்டும் போய், அங்கே ஒரே குலையுள்ள திராட்சக்கொடியை அறுத்தார்கள்; அதை ஒரு தடியிலே இரண்டுபேர் கட்டித் தூக்கிக்கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்: மாதளம்பழங்களிலும் அத்திப்பழங்களிலும் சிலவற்றைக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.
