தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துக்கும் விக்கிரகங்களுக்கும் சம்பந்தமேது? நான் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே வாசம்பண்ணி, அவர்களுக்குள்ளே உலாவி அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், அவர்கள் என் ஜனங்களாயிருப்பார்கள் என்று, தேவன் சொன்னபடி, நீங்கள் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயமாயிருக்கிறீர்களே.

தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திற்கும் விக்கிரகங்களுக்கும் சம்பந்தம் ஏது? நான் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே வாழ்ந்து, அவர்களுக்குள்ளே உலாவி, அவர்களுக்கு தேவனாக இருப்பேன், அவர்கள் என் மக்களாக இருப்பார்கள் என்று, தேவன் சொன்னபடியே, நீங்கள் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயமாக இருக்கிறீர்களே.

தேவனுடைய ஆலயமானது வெறும் சிலைகளோடு எவ்வாறு ஒப்பந்தம் செய்ய முடியும்.? நாம் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவன் வாழும் ஆலயங்களைப் போன்றுள்ளோம். “நான் அவர்களோடு வாழ்வேன்; நடப்பேன்; நான் அவர்களது தேவனாக இருப்பேன். அவர்களே எனது மக்களாக இருப்பார்கள்.”

கடவுளின் கோவிலுக்கும் சிலைவழிபாட்டுக் கோவிலுக்கும் என்ன இணக்கம்? வாழும் கடவுளின் கோவில் நாமே. ⁽“என் உறைவிடத்தை␢ அவர்கள் நடுவில் நிறுவுவேன்.␢ அவர்கள் நடுவே நான் உலவுவேன்.␢ நானே அவர்கள் கடவுள்!␢ அவர்கள் என் மக்கள்!”⁾ என்று கடவுளே சொல்லியிருக்கிறார் அன்றோ!
