யோராம் என்னும் ராஜாவின் குமாரத்தியும் அகசியாவின் சகோதரியுமாகிய யோசேபாள், கொலையுண்ணப்படுகிற ராஜகுமாரரின் நடுவிலிருக்கிற அகசியாவின் மகனாகிய யோவாசைக் களவாய் எடுத்தாள்; அவன் கொல்லப்படாதபடி, அவனையும் அவன் தாதியையும் அத்தாலியாளுக்குத் தெரியாமல் பள்ளி அறையில் ஒளித்து வைத்தார்கள்.

ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் மகளும் அகசியாவின் சகோதரியுமாகிய யோசேபாள், கொலைசெய்யப்படுகிற ராஜகுமாரரின் நடுவிலிருக்கிற அகசியாவின் மகனாகிய யோவாசை யாருக்கும் தெரியாமல் எடுத்தாள்; அவன் கொல்லப்படாதபடி, அவனையும் அவன் வளர்ப்புத் தாயையும் அத்தாலியாளுக்குத் தெரியாமல் படுக்கையறையில் ஒளித்துவைத்தார்கள்.

அரசனான யோராமின் மகள் யோசேபாள் ஆவாள். இவள் அகசியாவிற்குச் சகோதரி ஆவாள். யோவாஸ் அகசியா அரசனின் மகன்களுள் ஒருவன். மற்றவர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டபோது அவள் அவனைக் காப்பற்றி ஒளித்து வைத்தாள். தன் படுக்கையறையிலேயே யோவாசையும் அவனது தாதியையும் மறைத்து வைத்தாள். இவ்வாறு யோவாஸ் அத்தாலியாவால் கொல்லப்படாமல் தப்பித்தான்.

அரசன் யோராமின் மகளும், அகசியாவின் சகோதரியுமான யோசேபா அகசியாவின் மகன் யோவாசைத் தூக்கிக்கொண்டு போய் ஒளித்து வைத்தாள். அவன் கொல்லப்படவிருந்த அரசிளம் புதல்வர்களில் ஒருவன். அவனையும் அவன் செவிலித் தாயையும், தனது பள்ளியறையினுள் அத்தலியாவின் பார்வையிலிருந்து யோசேபா* மறைத்து வைத்தாள். எனவே, அவன் உயிர் தப்பினான்.
