கர்த்தர் சொன்ன நல்ல செயல்களை மட்டுமே யோவாஸ் செய்தான். அவன் தன் வாழ் நாள் முழுவதும் கர்த்தருக்கு அடிபணிந்து வந்தான். யோய்தா எனும் ஆசாரியன் அவனுக்கு கற்றுத் தந்ததையே கடைபிடித்தான்.
