அசரியா தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே அவன் பிதாக்களண்டையிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய யோதாம் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.

அசரியா இறந்தபின், அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே அவனுடைய முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அவன் மகனாகிய யோதாம் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
