தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் விட்டுவிட்டு, இரண்டு கன்றுக்குட்டிகளாகிய வார்ப்பித்த விக்கிரகங்களைத் தங்களுக்கு உண்டாக்கி, விக்கிரகத் தோப்புகளை நாட்டி, வானத்தின் சேனைகளையெல்லாம் பணிந்துகொண்டு, பாகாலைச் சேவித்தார்கள்.

ஜனங்கள் அவர்களது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கற்பனைகளைப் பின்பற்றுவதை நிறுத்தினார்கள். அவர்கள் இரண்டு பொற் கன்றுக்குட்டிகளையும் உருவத் தூண்களை நாட்டி வானத்தில் உள்ள நட்சத்திரங்களையெல்லாம் தொழுதுகொண்டனர். பாகாலுக்கு சேவை செய்தனர்.
