கர்த்தர் நம்மை நிச்சயமாய்த் தப்புவிப்பார்; இந்த நகரம் அசீரியா ராஜாவின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று சொல்லி, எசேக்கியா உங்களைக் கர்த்தரை நம்பப்பண்ணுவான்; அதற்கு இடங்கொடாதிருங்கள் என்று ராஜா சொல்லுகிறார்.

அதுபோல் கர்த்தர் மீது நம்பிக்கையை அவன் ஏற்படுத்தும்படியும் விடாதீர்கள். ஏனென்றால் எசேக்கியா, ‘கர்த்தர் நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றுவார்!. இந்நகரத்தை அசீரிய அரசனால் தோற்கடிக்க முடியாது!’ என்று கூறுகிறான்.
