அந்த வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் யோயாக்கீம் பார்வோனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்; ஆனாலும் பார்வோனுடைய கட்டளையின்படி அந்தப் பணத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்டி அவன் தேசத்தை மதிப்பிட்டு, அவரவர் மதிப்பின்படி அந்த வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் பாரவோன் நேகோவுக்குக் கொடுக்கத்தக்கதாக தேசத்து ஜனங்களின் கையிலே தண்டினான்.

அந்த வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் யோயாக்கீம் பார்வோனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்; ஆனாலும் பார்வோனுடைய கட்டளையின்படி அந்தப் பணத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்படி அவன் தேசத்தை மதிப்பிட்டு, அவரவர் மதிப்பின்படி அந்த வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் பார்வோன்நேகோவுக்குக் கொடுக்கத்தக்கதாக தேசத்து மக்களின் கையிலே சுமத்தினான்.

யோயாக்கீம் பார்வோன் நேகோவிற்கு வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் அபராதமாக செலுத்தி வந்தான். இவன் இந்த அபராதத்தை ஜனங்கள் மீது வரியாகச் சுமத்தினான். எனவே நாட்டிலுள்ள ஒவ்வொருவனும் பொன்னும் வெள்ளியும் கொடுக்க வேண்டிவந்தது. இவற்றைத் தொகுத்து அதை அவன் பார்வோன் நேகோவிற்கு செலுத்தினான்.

பார்வோனின் கட்டளைப்படி வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் செலுத்த எண்ணிய யோயாக்கிம் தன் நாட்டு மக்கள் ஒவ்வொருவர் மேலும் வரி விதித்தான். அவரவர் நிலைக்கேற்ப, அவன் வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் மிகுதியாகத் திரட்டி, அவற்றைப் பார்வோன் நெக்கோவுக்குச் செலுத்தினான்.
