அங்கேயிருந்து கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் சகல பொக்கிஷங்களையும், ராஜாவுடைய அரமனையின் பொக்கிஷங்களையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் உண்டாக்கியிருந்த பொன் பணிமுட்டுகளையெல்லாம், கர்த்தர் சொல்லியிருந்தபடியே உடைத்துப்போட்டு,

நேபுகாத்நேச்சார், கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலும் அரண்மனையிலும் உள்ள கருவூலங்களில் உள்ளப் பொருட்களையெல்லாம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுப் போனான். சாலொமோன் அரசன் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் அமைத்திருந்த தங்கத் தட்டுகளையும் வெட்டி எடுத்துக்கொண்டான். இதுவும் கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடியே நடந்தது.

பின்பு, அவன் ஆண்டவரின் இல்லத்திலும் அரண்மனையிலும் இருந்த செல்வங்களை எல்லாம் எடுத்துச் சென்றான். ஆண்டவர் உரைத்த வாக்கின்படி, ஆண்டவரின் இல்லத்தில் இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசர் சாலமோன் செய்து வைத்திருந்த எல்லாப் பொன்கலன்களையும் துண்டுதுண்டாக்கினான்.
