நகரத்தில் மீதியான மற்ற ஜனத்தையும், பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் வசமாக ஓடி வந்துவிட்டவர்களையும், மற்ற ஜனக்கூட்டத்தையும், காவல் சேனாபதியாகிய நெபுசராதான் சிறைகளாகக் கொண்டு போனான்.

பாபிலோனிய படையின் ஆணை அதிகாரியான நெபுசராதான் நகரத்தில் மேலும் மீதியாக இருந்த ஜனங்களையும் பாபிலோனிய அரசனுக்கு வெளியே விழுந்து அழிந்தவர்களையும்கூட (ஆள முயன்றவர்களையும்) இவன் கைது செய்து நாடு கடத்திவிட்டான்.
