அப்பொழுது யோசபாத்: நாம் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கும்படி கர்த்தருடைய தீர்க்கதரிசி ஒருவரும் இங்கே இல்லையா என்று கேட்டதற்கு, எலியாவின் கைகளுக்குத் தண்ணீர் வார்த்த சாப்பாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய எலிசா இங்கே இருக்கிறான் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாவின் ஊழியக்காரரில் ஒருவன் மறுமொழியாகச் சொன்னான்.

அப்பொழுது யோசபாத்: நாம் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரிப்பதற்கு கர்த்தருடைய தீர்க்கதரிசி ஒருவரும் இங்கே இல்லையா என்று கேட்டதற்கு, எலியாவின் கைகளுக்குத் தண்ணீர் ஊற்றிய சாப்பாத்தின் மகனாகிய எலிசா இங்கே இருக்கிறான் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாவின் வேலைக்காரர்களில் ஒருவன் மறுமொழியாகச் சொன்னான்.

ஆனால் யோசபாத், “கர்த்தருடைய ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி இங்கே இருக்கவேண்டும். நாம் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறார் என அவரிடமே கேட்போம்” என்றான். இஸ்ரவேல் அரசரின் வேலைக்காரர் ஒருவன், “சாப்பாத்தின் மகனான எலிசா இங்கே இருக்கிறார். அவர் எலியாவின் வேலைக்காரர்” என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது, யோசபாத்து, “ஆண்டவரின் விருப்பத்தைத் தெரிவிக்கக் கூடிய இறைவாக்கினர் யாரும் இங்கு இல்லையா?” என்று கேட்டான். இஸ்ரயேல் அரசனின் பணியாளன் ஒருவன், “சாபாற்றின் மகன் எலிசா இங்கே இருக்கிறார். இவர் எலியா கைகளைக் கழுவும்போது தண்ணீர் ஊற்றி வந்தவர்” என்றான்.
