அப்படியே இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவும் ஏதோமின் ராஜாவும் சேர்ந்து போனார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் ஏழுநாள் சுற்றித்திரிந்தபோது, அவர்களைப் பின்செல்லுகிற இராணுவத்துக்கும் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கும் தண்ணீர் இல்லாமற்போயிற்று.

அப்படியே இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவும் ஏதோமின் ராஜாவும் சேர்ந்து போனார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் ஏழுநாட்கள் சுற்றித்திரிந்தபோது, அவர்களுக்குப் பின்செல்லுகிற இராணுவத்திற்கும் கால்நடைகளுக்கும் தண்ணீர் இல்லாமல்போனது.

எனவே இஸ்ரவேல் அரசன் யூதாவின் அரசனோடும் ஏதோமின் அரசனோடும் பயணம் செய்தான். அவர்கள் ஏறக்குறைய ஏழு நாட்கள் பயணம் செய்தனர். பிறகு படைவீரர்களுக்கும் மிருகங்களுக்கும் குடிக்க தண்ணீரில்லை.

அவ்வாறே , இஸ்ரயேல் அரசன் யூதாவின் அரசனோடும், ஏதோமின் மன்னனோடும் புறப்பட்டான். அவர்கள் ஏழு நாள் சுற்று வழியில் சென்றபின், படை வீரர்களுக்கும் அவர்களைப் பின் தொடர்ந்த விலங்கினங்களுக்கும் தண்ணீர் கிடைக்கவில்லை.
