அவன் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் வழியிலே நடந்து, ஆகாபின் வீட்டார் செய்ததுபோலச் செய்தான்; ஆகாபின் குமாரத்தி அவனுக்கு மனைவியாயிருந்தாள்; அவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.

அவன் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் வழியிலே நடந்து, ஆகாபின் வீட்டார் செய்ததுபோலச் செய்தான்; ஆகாபின் மகள் அவனுக்கு மனைவியாயிருந்தாள்; அவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.

ஆனால், அவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் அரசர்களைப் போன்றே கர்த்தருக்குப் பிடிக்காதப் பாவங்களைச் செய்து வந்தான். அவனது மனைவி ஆகாபின் மகளானதால் யோராம் ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தவர்களைப் போன்றே வாழ்ந்து வந்தான்.
