ராஜாவாகிய யோராம் தான் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசகேலோடு யுத்தம் பண்ணுகையில், சீரியர் ராமாவிலே தன்னை வெட்டின காயங்களை ஆற்றிக் கொள்ள யெஸ்ரயேலுக்குப் போயிருந்தான்; ஆகாபின் குமாரனாகிய யோராம் வியாதியாயிருந்தபடியினால், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் குமாரன் அகசியா யெஸ்ரயேலில் இருக்கிற அவனைப் பார்க்கிறதற்குப் போனான்.

ராஜாவாகிய யோராம் தான் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசகேலோடு போர்செய்யும்போது, சீரியர்கள் ராமாவிலே தன்னை வெட்டின காயங்களை ஆற்றிக்கொள்ள யெஸ்ரயேலுக்குப் போயிருந்தான்; ஆகாபின் மகனாகிய யோராம் வியாதியாயிருந்ததால், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோராமின் மகன் அகசியா யெஸ்ரயேலில் இருக்கிற அவனைப் பார்ப்பதற்குப் போனான்.

அரசனான யோராம் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குத் திருமபித் தன்னைக் காயங்களிலிருந்து குணப்படுத்திக் கொள்ள யெஸ்ரயேல் பகுதிக்குச் சென்றான். யோராமின் மகனான அகசியா யூதாவின் அரசனாயிருந்தான். அகசியா யோராமைக்காண யெஸ்ரயேலுக்குச் சென்றான்.

சிரியாவின் மன்னன் அசாவேலுடன் இராமோத்தில் போரிடுகையில் சிரியரால் ஏற்பட்ட காயங்களை ஆற்றிக்கொள்வதற்காக யோராம் இஸ்ரயேலுக்குத் திரும்பி வந்தான். அப்பொழுது யூதாவின் அரசனான யோராமின் மகன் அகசியா, ஆகாபின் மகனும் காயமுற்றிருந்தவனுமான யோராமை இஸ்ரயேலில் காணச் சென்றான்.
