அந்தக் குதிரைவீரன்: அவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய், சமாதானமா என்று ராஜா கேட்கச்சொன்னார் என்றான். அதற்கு யெகூ: சமாதானத்தைப் பற்றி உனக்கு என்ன? என் பிறகே திரும்பிவா என்றான். அப்பொழுது ஜாமக்காரன்: அனுப்பப்பட்டவன் அவர்கள் இருக்கும் இடமட்டும் போனபோதிலும் திரும்பிவரவில்லை என்றான்.

எனவே, தூதுவன் யெகூவை சந்திக்க குதிரையில் சென்றான். தூதுவன், “நீங்கள் சமாதானத்தோடு வருகிறீர்களா? என்று அரசன் கேட்கச் சொன்னார்” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு யெகூ, “சமாதானத்துடன் எந்த சம்பந்தமும் உனக்கு இல்லை! என்னைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து வா” என்றான். காவல்காரன் யோராமிடம், “தூதுவன் அந்தக் கூட்டத்தோடு சேர்ந்துவிட்டான். அவன் திரும்பி வரவில்லை” என்றான்.

அவ்வாறு, குதிரை வீரன் ஒருவன் ஏகூவைச் சந்திக்கப் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று, “‘அமைதிக்காகவா?’ என்று அரசர் கேட்கச் சொன்னார்” என்றான். அதற்கு ஏகூ, “சமாதானம் பேசுவதற்கு நீ யார்? திரும்பி என் பின்னே வா” என்றான். அப்பொழுது காவலன், “தூதன் அவர்களைச் சென்றடைந்தான். ஆனால், இன்னும் திரும்பி வரவில்லை” என்று அறிவித்தான்.
