நேற்று நாபோத்தின் இரத்தத்தையும், அவன் குமாரரின் இரத்தத்தையும் கண்டேன் அல்லவா என்றும், இந்த நிலத்தில்; உனக்கு நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுவேன் என்றும் அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் சொன்னாரே; இப்போதும் அவனை எடுத்து, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே இந்த நிலத்தில் எறிந்துபோடு என்றான்.

நேற்று நாபோத்தின் இரத்தத்தையும், அவனுடைய மகன்களின் இரத்தத்தையும் கண்டேன் அல்லவா என்றும், இந்த நிலத்தில் உனக்கு நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுவேன் என்றும் அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் சொன்னாரே; இப்போதும் அவனை எடுத்து, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே இந்த நிலத்தில் எறிந்துபோடு என்றான்.

கர்த்தர், ‘நேற்று நான் நாபோத் மற்றும் அவனது பிள்ளைகளின் இரத்தத்தைப் பார்த்தேன். நான் ஆகாபை இதே வயலில் தண்டிப்பேன்’, என்று சொன்னார்! எனவே, அவர் சொன்னபடியே, யோராமின் உடலை எடுத்து வயலுக்குள் வீசு!” என்றான்.

‘நேற்று நாபோத்தின் இரத்தத்தையும் அவன் பிள்ளைகளின் இரத்தத்தையும் கண்டேன். நான் கண்டதற்காக நாபோத்தின் இந்த நிலத்திலேயே உன்னைப் பழிவாங்குவது உறுதி’ என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர். எனவே, இப்பொழுது அவனைத் தூக்கி ஆண்டவரின் வாக்கிற்கிணங்க அந்த நிலப்பகுதியில் எறிந்துவிடு” என்றான்.

Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD.
