அவன் உட்பிரவேசித்தபோது, சேனாபதிகள் அங்கே உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அவன்: சேனாபதியே, உமக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டிய ஒரு வார்த்தை உண்டு என்றான். அதற்கு யெகூ: எங்களெல்லாருக்குள்ளும் யாருக்கு என்று கேட்டதற்கு, அவன், சேனாபதியாகிய உமக்குத்தான் என்றான்.

அவன் அங்கே சென்றபோது, சேனாதிபதிகள் அங்கே உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அவன்: சேனாதிபதியே, உமக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டிய ஒரு வார்த்தை உண்டு என்றான். அதற்கு யெகூ: எங்களில் யாருக்கு என்று கேட்டதற்கு, அவன், சேனாதிபதியாகிய உமக்குத்தான் என்றான்.

அவன் அங்கு நுழைந்ததும், படைத் தளபதி உட்கார்ந்திருப்பதைப் பார்த்தான். இவன் அவனிடம், “தலைவரே, உங்களுக்காக என்னிடம் ஒரு செய்தி உண்டு” என்றான். அதற்கு யெகூ, “இங்கு இருக்கிற அனைவரிலும் உமது செய்தி யாருக்குரியது?” என்று கேட்டான். உடனே இளம் தீர்க்கதரிசி, “இந்த செய்தி உங்களுக்குரியதுதான் தளபதியே” என்றான்.

அவன் அங்கு வந்ததும் படைத்தலைவர்கள் அமர்ந்திருந்ததைக் கண்டான். அவன் “தளபதியே! உம்மிடம் ஒரு வார்த்தை சொல்லவேண்டும்” என்றான். அதற்கு ஏகூ, “எங்களுள் யாரிடம்?” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு அவன், “தளபதியே! உம்மிடம்தான்” என்றான்.
