தேவ தூதர்கள் பாவம் செய்தபோது, தேவன் அவர்களைத் தண்டனையின்றி விடுதலைபெற அனுமதிக்கவில்லை. தேவன் அவர்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிற நாள்வரைக்கும் அடைந்திருக்கும் பொருட்டு நரகத்தின் இருட்டு மூலைகளில் எறிந்தார்.

தங்களுடைய ஆதிமேன்மையைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளாமல், தங்களுக்குரிய வாசஸ்தலத்தை விட்டுவிட்ட தூதர்களையும், மகா நாளின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கென்று நித்திய சங்கிலிகளினாலே கட்டி, அந்தகாரத்தில் அடைத்து வைத்திருக்கிறார்.
