பின்பு அதிலிருந்த ஜனங்களை அவன் வெளியே கொண்டுபோய் அவர்களை வாள்களுக்கும், இருப்புப் பாரைகளுக்கும், இருப்புக் கோடரிகளுக்கும் உட்படுத்தி, அவர்களைச் செங்கற்சூளையையும் கடக்கப்பண்ணினான்; இப்படி அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் பட்டணங்களுக்கெல்லாம் செய்து, தாவீது எல்லா ஜனத்தோடுங்கூட எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பினான்.

பின்பு அதிலிருந்த மக்களை அவன் வெளியே கொண்டுபோய், அவர்களை வாள்களும், இரும்பு ஆயதங்களும், இரும்புக் கோடரிகளும் செய்யும் வேளையில் உட்படுத்தி, அவர்களைச் செங்கற்சூளைகளிலும் வேலைசெய்யவைத்தான்; இப்படி அம்மோன் மக்களின் பட்டணங்களுக்கெல்லாம் செய்து, தாவீது எல்லா மக்களோடும் எருசலேமிற்குத் திரும்பினான்.

ரப்பாவின் ஜனங்களை தாவீதின் நகருக்கு வெளியே அழைத்துவந்தான். இரம்பம், கடப்பாரை, இரும்புக்கோடரி ஆகியவற்றைப் பயன்படுத்தும் வேலையை அவர்கள் செய்யும்படி தாவீது கூறினான். செங்கற்களால் கட்டிடம் கட்டும் வேலையைச் செய்யும்படியாகவும் தாவீது அவர்களை வற்புறுத்தினான். அம்மோனியரின் நகரங்கள் அனைத்திலும் தாவீது இதனையே செய்தான். பின்பு தாவீதும் அவனது படையினரும் எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றனர்.

அங்கிருந்த மக்களையும் அவர் கொண்டுவந்து இரம்பம், கடப்பாரை, கோடரி வேலைகளுக்கும் செங்கல் சூளை வேலைகளுக்கும் அவர்களை அமர்த்தினார். இவ்வாறே அனைத்து அம்மோனிய நகர்களுக்கும் செய்தார். பிறகு தாவீதும் மக்கள் அனைவரும் எருசலேம் திரும்பினர்.
