இஸ்ரவேல் மனுஷரோ யூதா மனுஷருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ராஜாவினிடத்தில் எங்களுக்குப் பத்துப்பங்கு இருக்கிறது; உங்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் எங்களுக்குத் தாவீதினிடத்தில் அதிக உரிமை உண்டு; பின்னை ஏன் எங்களை அற்பமாய் எண்ணினீர்கள்; எங்கள் ராஜாவைத் திரும்ப அழைத்துவரவேண்டும் என்று முந்திச்சொன்னவர்கள் நாங்களல்லவா என்றார்கள்; ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேல் மனுஷரின் பேச்சைப்பார்க்கிலும் யூதா மனுஷரின் பேச்சு பலத்தது.

இஸ்ரவேல் மனிதர்களோ யூதா மனிதர்களுக்கு பதிலாக: ராஜாவிடம் எங்களுக்குப் பத்துப்பங்கு இருக்கிறது; உங்களைவிட எங்களுக்கு தாவீதிடம் அதிக உரிமை உண்டு; பின்னே ஏன் எங்களை அற்பமாக நினைத்தீர்கள்; எங்கள் ராஜாவைத் திரும்ப அழைத்துவரவேண்டும் என்று முந்திச் சொன்னவர்கள் நாங்கள் அல்லவா என்றார்கள்; ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேல் மனிதர்களின் பேச்சைவிட யூதா மனிதர்களின் பேச்சு பெலத்தது.

இஸ்ரவேலர் பதிலாக, “தாவீதிடம் எங்களுக்குப் பத்துப் பங்குகள் உள்ளன. எனவே உங்களைக் காட்டிலும் தாவீதிடம் எங்களுக்கு அதிக உரிமை உண்டு. ஆனால் நீங்கள் எங்களை மதிக்கவில்லை. நாங்கள் தாம் அரசரை அழைத்து வருவதைக்குறித்து முதலில் எடுத்துரைத்தோம்” என்றார்கள். ஆனால் யூதா ஜனங்கள் இஸ்ரவேலரிடம் கடுமையாக நடந்துக்கொண்டனர். யூத ஜனங்களுடைய வார்த்தைள் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளைக்காட்டிலும் மிகவும் கடுமையாக இருந்தது.

இஸ்ரயேலர் யூதாவினரை நோக்கி, “எங்களுக்கு அரசரிடம் பத்துப் பங்குகள் உண்டு. மேலும், தாவீதிடம் உங்களைவிட எங்களுக்கு அதிக உரிமை உண்டு. பின் ஏன் எங்களை அற்பமாக நடத்துகின்றீர்கள்? எங்கள் அரசரைத் திருப்பியழைத்து வர வேண்டுமென்று முதலில் சொன்னவர்கள் நாங்கள் அல்லவா!” என்று பதில் சொன்னார்கள். இஸ்ரயேலின் பேச்சைவிட யூதாவினரின் பேச்சு கடுமையாக இருந்தது.
