காரியம் அப்படியல்ல, பிக்கிரியின் குமாரனாகிய சேபா என்னும் பேருள்ள எப்பிராயீம் பர்வதத்தானாயிருக்கிற ஒரு மனுஷன், ராஜாவாகிய தாவீதுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தன் கையை ஓங்கினான்; அவனைமாத்திரம் ஒப்புக்கொடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது பட்டணத்தை விட்டுப்போவேன் என்றான். அப்பொழுது அந்த ஸ்திரீ யோவாபைப் பார்த்து: இதோ, அவன் தலை மதிலின்மேலிருந்து உம்மிடத்திலே போடப்படும் என்று சொல்லி,

ஆனால் மலைநாடாகிய எப்பிராயீமைச் சார்ந்த ஒரு மனிதன் உங்கள் நகரில் இருக்கிறான். அவன் பிக்கிரியின் மகன் சேபா. அவன் தாவீது அரசனை எதிர்க்கிறான். அவனை என்னிடம் கொண்டு வாருங்கள். நான் நகரை ஒன்றும் செய்யமாட்டேன்” என்றான். அப்பெண் யோவாபிடம், “சரி அவனது தலை மதிலின் மேலாக உங்களிடம் வீசப்படும்” என்றாள்.

காரியம் அதுவல்ல. எப்ராயிம் மலைப்பகுதியைச் சார்ந்த, பிக்ரியின் மகன் சேபா என்பவன் அரசர் தாவீதுக்கு எதிராகக் கையோங்கியுள்ளான். அவனை மட்டும் தாருங்கள். நான் நகரிலிருந்து விலகிச் செல்வேன்” என்று பதில் கூறினார். அப்பொழுது அப்பெண், “இதோ! அவன் தலை மதிலுக்கு அப்பால் உம்மிடம் தூக்கி எறியப்படும்” என்றாள்.
