கர்த்தரோடே வழக்காடுகிறவர்கள் நொறுக்கப்படுவார்கள்; வானத்திலிருந்து அவர்கள்மேல் முழங்குவார்; கர்த்தர் பூமியின் கடையாந்தரங்களை நியாயந்தீர்த்து, தாம் ஏற்படுத்தின ராஜாவுக்குப் பெலன் அளித்து, தாம் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினவரின் கொம்பை உயரப்பண்ணுவார் என்று துதித்தாள்.

அவருடைய சத்தத்தினால் உண்டாகிற அதிர்ச்சியையும், அவர் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற முழக்கத்தையும் கவனமாய்க் கேளுங்கள்.

நீங்கள் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ராஜ்யமும் பரிசுத்த ஜாதியுமாய் இருப்பீர்கள் என்று நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்ல வேண்டிய வார்த்தைகள் என்றார்.

வானத்திலிருந்து யுத்தம் உண்டாயிற்று; நட்சத்திரங்கள் தங்கள் அயனங்களிலிருந்து சிசெராவோடே யுத்தம் பண்ணின.

சாமுவேல் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியைச் செலுத்துகையில், பெலிஸ்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ண நெருங்கினார்கள்; கர்த்தர் மகா பெரிய இடிமுழக்கங்களைப் பெலிஸ்தர்மேல் அந்நாளிலே முழங்கப்பண்ணி, அவர்களைக் கலங்கடித்ததினால், அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முன்பாகப் பட்டு விழுந்தார்கள்.

இன்று கோதுமை அறுப்பின் நாள் அல்லவா? நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு ராஜாவைக் கேட்டதினால், கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குச் செய்த உங்களுடைய பொல்லாப்புப் பெரியதென்று நீங்கள் கண்டு உணரும் படிக்கு, நான் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணுவேன்; அப்பொழுது இடி முழக்கங்களையும் மழையையும் கட்டளையிடுவார் என்று சொல்லி,

தேவனுடைய புயத்தைப்போல் உனக்குப் புயமுண்டோ? அவரைப்போல் இடிமுழக்கமாய் சத்தமிடக்கூடுமோ?

கர்த்தருடைய சத்தம் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் தொனிக்கிறது; மகிமையுள்ள தேவன் ழுழங்குகிறார்; கர்த்தர் திரளான தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் இருக்கிறார்.

ஜலங்கள் உம்மைக் கண்டது, தேவனே ஜலங்கள் உம்மைக் கண்டு தத்தளித்தது; ஆழங்களும் கலங்கினது.

கர்த்தர் மகத்துவமானவர்; தமது சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணி, உக்கிர கோபத்தினாலும், பட்சிக்கிற அக்கினிஜுவாலையினாலும், இடி பெருவெள்ளம் கல்மழையினாலும், தமது புயத்தின் லல்லமையைக் காண்பிப்பாΰ்.

கேருபீன்களுடைய செட்டைகளின் இரைச்சல் சர்வத்துக்கும் வல்ல தேவன் பேசுகையில் உண்டாகும் சத்தம்போல வெளிப்பிராகாரமட்டும் கேட்கப்பட்டது.

அப்பொழுது பரலோகத்தில் தேவனுடைய ஆலயம் திறக்கப்பட்டது, அவருடைய ஆலயத்திலே அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் பெட்டி காணப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது மின்னல்களும், சத்தங்களும், இடிமுழக்கங்களும், பூமியதிர்ச்சியும், பெருங்கல்மழையும் உண்டாயின.
