கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் திரும்ப இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் மூண்டது. இஸ்ரவேல் யூதா என்பவர்களை இலக்கம் பார் என்று அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்ச் சொல்லுகிறதற்கு தாவீது ஏவப்பட்டான்.

இஸ்ரவேல் மீது மீண்டும் கர்த்தர் கோபம் அடைந்தார். இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு எதிராகக் திரும்பும்படி கர்த்தர் தாவீதை மாற்றினார். தாவீது, “இஸ்ரவேல் மற்றும் யூதா ஜனங்களின் எண்ணிக்கையைக் கணக்கெடுங்கள்” என்றான்.

மீண்டும் இஸ்ரயேல்மீது ஆண்டவரின் சினம் பற்றி எரிந்தது. அவர்களுக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்பட அவர் தாவீதிடம், “புறப்பட்டுப் போய் இஸ்ரயேல், யூதா மக்களை எண்ணுவாய்” என்று தூண்டிவிட்டார்.
