ராஜா தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய நாத்தானை நோக்கி: பாரும், கேதுருமரங்களால் செய்யப்பட வீட்டிலே நான் வாசம்பண்ணும்போது தேவனுடைய பெட்டி திரைகளின் நடுவே வாசமாயிருக்கிறதே என்றான்.

தாவீது அரசன் தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய நாத்தானை நோக்கி, “பாரும், நான் தேவதாரு மரங்களால் அமைந்த அழகிய வீட்டில் வாழ்கிறேன். ஆனால் தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டியோ ஒரு கூடாரத்திலேயே இன்னும் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது! பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டிக்கு அழகான நல்ல கட்டிடம் நாம் கட்ட வேண்டும்” என்றான்.
