எதிர்பேசுகிறவர்கள் சத்தியத்தை அறியும்படி தேவன் அவர்களுக்கு மனந்திரும்புதலை அருளத்தக்கதாகவும்,

கர்த்தருடைய ஊழியக்காரன் சண்டைபண்ணுகிறவனாக இல்லாமல், எல்லோரிடத்திலும் சாந்தமுள்ளவனும், போதிப்பதற்குத் திறமையுள்ளவனும், தீமையைச் சகிக்கிறவனுமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

கர்த்தருடைய ஊழியன் சண்டைக்காரனாக இருக்கக் கூடாது. அவன் எல்லோரிடமும் இரக்கத்துடன் இருத்தல் வேண்டும். அவன் நல்ல போதகனாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும். அவன் பொறுமையுள்ளவனாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

ஆண்டவரின் பணியாளர் சண்டையிடாதவராயிருக்க வேண்டும்; அது மட்டுமல்ல, அனைவரிடமும் கனிவு காட்டுகிறவராகவும், கற்பிக்கும் திறமையுடையவராகவும், தீமையைப் பொறுத்துக் கொள்பவராகவும்,
