ஆதலால், யோவான் ஞானஸ்நானங்கொடுத்த நாள்முதற்கொண்டு, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவானவர் நம்மிடத்திலிருந்து உயர எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட நாள்வரைக்கும்,

“எனவே இன்னொருவன் நம்மோடு சேர்ந்துகொண்டு இயேசு உயிரோடு எழுந்ததற்கு சாட்சியாக இருக்கட்டும். ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு நம்மோடு இருந்தபோது எப்போதும் நம்மோடு கூட இருந்த மனிதர்களில் ஒருவனாக அவன் இருத்தல் வேண்டும். யோவான் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுக்கத் தொடங்கியதிலிருந்து இயேசு பரலோகத்திற்கு அழைத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டது வரைக்கும் நம்மோடு இருந்தவனாக அவன் இருக்க வேண்டும்” என்றான்.
