அவர்கள் அங்கே அநேகநாள் சஞ்சரித்துக் கர்த்தரை முன்னிட்டுத் தைரியமுள்ளவர்களாய்ப் போதகம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவர் தமது கிருபையுள்ள வசனத்திற்குச் சாட்சியாக அடையாளங்களும் அற்புதங்களும் அவர்கள் கைகளால் செய்யப்படும்படி அநுக்கிரகம்பண்ணினார்.

அவர்கள் அங்கே அநேகநாட்கள் வாழ்ந்து கர்த்தரை முன்னிட்டுத் தைரியம் உள்ளவர்களாகப் போதகம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவர் தமது கிருபையுள்ள வசனத்திற்கு சாட்சியாக அடையாளங்களும் அற்புதங்களும் அவர்கள் கைகளால் செய்யப்படும்படி தயவுபண்ணினார்.

எனவே பவுலும் பர்னபாவும் இக்கோனியத்தில் நீண்ட காலம் தங்கினர். கர்த்தருக்காகத் துணிவோடு பேசினர். தேவனுடைய கிருபையைக் குறித்து பவுலும், பர்னபாவும் பேசினர். அற்புதங்களையும் அதிசயங்களையும் நிகழ்த்துவதற்கு அப்போஸ்தலர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்து அவர்கள் கூறியதை உண்மையென்று தேவன் நிரூபித்தார்.

ஆயினும், அவர்கள் அங்குப் பல நாள் தங்கி ஆண்டவரைப்பற்றித் துணிவுடன் பேசினார்கள். ஆண்டவரும் தம் அருள் செய்திக்குச் சான்றாகப் பல அடையாளங்களையும் அருஞ்செயல்களையும் அவர்கள் வழியாகச் செய்தார்.
