சடிதியிலே சிறைச்சாலையின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் அசையும்படியாக பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது; உடனே கதவுகளெல்லாம் திறவுண்டது; எல்லாருடைய கட்டுகளும் கழன்றுபோயிற்று.

திடீரென்று ஒரு பெரிய பூமியதிர்ச்சி உண்டாயிற்று. சிறையின் அஸ்திபாரத்தை அசைக்கும்படியாக அது பலமாக இருந்தது. பின் சிறைச் சாலையின் கதவுகள் எல்லாம் திறந்தன. எல்லா கைதிகளும் அவர்களது விலங்குகளிலிருந்து விடுபட்டனர்.

திடீரென ஒருபெரிய நிலநடுக்கம் ஏற்பட்டது. சிறைக்கூடத்தின் அடித்தளமே அதிர்ந்தது. உடனே கதவுகள் அனைத்தும் திறந்தன. அனைவரின் விலங்குகளும் கழன்று விழுந்தன.
