அவன் அந்தத் திசைகளிலே சுற்றி நடந்து, சீஷர்களுக்கு வெகுவாய்ப் புத்திசொல்லி, கிரேக்கு தேசத்திலே சேர்ந்தான்.

இணை வசனம்

நான் எனக்கென்று யூதாவை நாணேற்றி, எப்பிராயீமிலே வில்லை நிரப்பி, சீயோனே, உன் புத்திரரைக் கிரேக்குதேசப் புத்திரருக்கு விரோதமாக எழுப்பி, உன்னைப் பராக்கிரமசாலியின் பட்டயத்துக்கு ஒப்பாக்குவேன்.

இன்னும் அநேக வார்த்தைகளாலும் சாட்சிகூறி, மாறுபாடுள்ள இந்தச் சந்ததியை விட்டு விலகி உங்களை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்றும் புத்திசொன்னான்.

சீஷருடைய மனதைத் திடப்படுத்தி, விசுவாசத்திலே நிலைத்திருக்கும்படி அவர்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லி, நாம் அநேக உபத்திரவங்களின் வழியாய் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கவேண்டுமென்று சொன்னார்கள்.

சீரியாவிலும் சிலிசியாவிலும் திரிந்து, சபைகளைத் திடப்படுத்தினான்.

அங்கேயிருந்து மக்கெதோனியா தேசத்து நாடுகளில் ஒன்றிற்குத் தலைமையானதும் ரோமர் குடியேறினதுமான பிலிப்பி பட்டணத்துக்கு வந்து, அந்தப்பட்டணத்திலே சிலநாள் தங்கியிருந்தோம்.

அவர்கள் அம்பிபோலி பட்டணத்தையும் அப்பொலோனியா பட்டணத்தையும் கடந்து, தெசலோனிக்கே பட்டணத்துக்கு வந்தார்கள்; அங்கே யூதருக்கு ஒரு ஜெபஆலயம் இருந்தது.

உடனே சகோதரர் இராத்திரிகாலத்திலே பவுலையும் சீலாவையும் பெரோயா பட்டணத்துக்கு அனுப்பிவிட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் அங்கே சேர்ந்து, யூதருடைய ஜெபஆலயத்திற்குப் போனார்கள்.

புளிப்பில்லா அப்பப்பண்டிகை நாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு நாங்கள் கப்பல் ஏறிப் பிலிப்பிபட்டணத்தை விட்டு ஐந்து நாளைக்குள்ளே துரோவாபட்டணத்துக்கு அவர்களிடத்தில் வந்து, அங்கே ஏழுநாள் தங்கியிருந்தோம்.

பின்பு ஏறிப்போய், அப்பம் பிட்டு புசித்து, விடியற்காலமளவும் வெகுநேரம் பேசிக்கொண்டு, பின்பு புறப்பட்டான்.

எந்த மனுஷனையும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தேறினவனாக நிறுத்தும்படிக்கு, அவரையே நாங்கள் அறிவித்து, எந்த மனுஷனுக்கும் புத்திசொல்லி, எந்த மனுஷனுக்கும் எல்லா ஞானத்தோடும் உபதேசம்பண்ணுகிறோம்.

எங்கள் போதகம் வஞ்சகத்தினாலும் துராசையினாலும் உண்டாகவில்லை, அது கபடமுள்ளதாயுமிருக்கவில்லை.
