அதற்குப் பவுல்: நீங்கள் அழுது என் இருதயத்தை ஏன் உடைந்துபோகப்பண்ணுகிறீர்கள்? எருசலேமில் நான் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் நாமத்திற்காகக் கட்டப்படுவதற்குமாத்திரமல்ல, மரிப்பதற்கும் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறேன் என்றான்.

அதற்குப் பவுல்: நீங்கள் அழுது என் இருதயத்தை ஏன் சோர்ந்து போகப்பண்ணுகிறீர்கள்? எருசலேமில் நான் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் நாமத்திற்காகக் கட்டப்படுவதற்கு மட்டுமல்ல, இறப்பதற்கும் தயாராக இருக்கிறேன் என்றான்.

ஆனால் பவுல், “ஏன் நீங்கள் அழுதுகொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்? ஏன் என்னை இத்தனை கவலை கொள்ளச் செய்கிறீர்கள்? நான் எருசலேமில் கட்டப்படுவதற்குத் தயாராக இருக்கிறேன். கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் நாமத்திற்காக இறப்பதற்கும் நான் தயாராக உள்ளேன்” என்றான்.
