யூதரல்லாத மக்களிடம் செல்வதைப் பற்றிய இக்கடைசி வார்த்தைகளைப் பவுல் கூறியபோது, மக்கள் கவனிப்பதை நிறுத்தினர். அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் உரக்க, “அவனைக் கொல்லுங்கள். உலகத்திலிருந்து அவனை ஒழித்துக்கட்டுங்கள். இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு மனிதனை உயிர்வாழ விடக்கூடாது” என்றனர்.
