இவன் மரணத்துக்குப் பாத்திரமானதொன்றையும் செய்யவில்லையென்று நான் அறிந்துகொண்டதினாலும், இவன்தானே இராயனுக்கு அபயமிட்டபடியினாலும், அவரிடத்தில் இவனை அனுப்பும்படி தீர்மானம்பண்ணினேன்.

இவன் மரணத்திற்கு ஏதுவானதொன்றையும் செய்யவில்லையென்று நான் அறிந்துகொண்டதினாலும், இவன் தானே இராயனுக்கு மேல்முறையீடு செய்ததினாலும், அவரிடத்தில் இவனை அனுப்பும்படி தீர்மானித்தேன்.

நான் நியாயங்கேட்டபோது அவனிடம் எந்தத் தவறையும் காணவில்லை. அவனுக்கு மரண தண்டனை விதிக்குமளவிற்கு எந்தக் காரணமும் இருக்கவில்லை. அவன் இராயரிடம் நியாயம் பெற விரும்புகிறான். எனவே அவனை ரோமுக்கு அனுப்பத் தீர்மானித்துள்ளேன்.

நான் இவர் மரணதண்டனைக்குரிய குற்றமொன்றையும் செய்யவில்லை என்பதைக் கண்டேன். ஆயினும் ,இவர் தம்மைப் பேரரசரே விசாரிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக் கொண்டதால் அவரிடமே அனுப்பத் தீர்மானித்தேன்.
