பேதுரு “அனனியாவே, சாத்தான் உனது இருதயத்தை ஆள ஏன் அனுமதித்தாய்? நீ பொய் கூறி, பரிசுத்த ஆவியை ஏமாற்ற முயன்றாய். நீ உனது நிலத்தை விற்றாய். ஆனால் பணத்தில் ஒரு பகுதியை ஏன் உனக்காக வைத்துக்கொண்டாய்?

அப்பொழுது பேதுரு, “அனனியா, நீ நிலத்தை விற்ற தொகையின் ஒரு பகுதியை உனக்கென்று வைத்துக்கொண்டு தூய ஆவியாரிடம் பொய் சொல்லும்படி சாத்தான் உன் உள்ளத்தை ஆட்கொண்டதேன்?
