அவன் இந்தச் சேனையை நீக்கினபின்பு, அவனுடைய இருதயம் கர்வங்கொள்ளும்; அவன் அநேகமாயிரம்பேரை மடிவிப்பான்; ஆனாலும் பலங்கொள்ளமாட்டான்.

அப்படையைச் சிறைப்பிடித்ததால் தென்னவன் உள்ளம் இறுமாப்புக் கொள்ளும். பல்லாயிரம் பேரை அவன் வீழ்த்துவான்; ஆயினும் அவன் முழு வெற்றி அடையமாட்டான்.
