இப்போது நான் மெய்யான செய்தியை உனக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்; இதோ, இன்னும் மூன்று ராஜாக்கள் பெர்சியாவில் எழும்புவார்கள்; அதின்பின்பு நாலாம் ராஜாவாயிருப்பவன் எல்லாரிலும் மகா ஐசுவரிய சம்பன்னனாகி, தன் ஐசுவரியத்தினால் பலங்கொண்டு, கிரேக்கு ராஜ்யத்துக்கு விரோதமாகச் சகலரையும் எழுப்பிவிடுவான்.

“இப்பொழுதும், தானியேலே, நான் உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன். பெர்சியாவில் மேலும் மூன்று அரசர்கள் ஆளூகைச் செய்வார்கள். பிறகு நாலாவது அரசன் ஒருவன் வருவான். அந்த நாலாவது அரசன் பெர்சியாவை இதற்கு முன் ஆண்ட எல்லா அரசர்களைவிட செல்வந்தனாக இருப்பான். அந்த நாலாவது அரசன் வல்லமையைப் பெறுவதற்கு தனது செல்வத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துவான். அவன், எல்லோரும் கிரேக்க இராஜ்யத்திற்கு எதிராக இருக்கக் காரணமாவான்.
