செழிப்பான ராஜ்யத்தில் தண்டல்காரனைத் திரியப்பண்ணுகிற ஒருவன் தன் ஸ்தானத்தில் எழும்புவான்; ஆகிலும் சிலநாளைக்குள் கோபமில்லாமலும் யுத்தமில்லாமலும் நாசமடைவான்.

“அந்த வடபகுதி அரசனுக்குப்பிறகு ஒரு புதிய அரசன் வருவான். அந்த அரசன் ஒரு வரிவசூலிப்பவனை அனுப்புவான். அந்த அரசன் தான் வளமான வழியில் வாழ போதிய செல்வம் உடையவனாக இருக்க இதனைச் செய்வான். ஆனால் சில ஆண்டுகளில் அந்த அரசன் அழிக்கப்படுவான். ஆனால் அவன் போரில் மரிக்கமாட்டான்.

நாட்டின் செழிப்பான பகுதிகளுக்கு வரிவசூலிப்பவனை அனுப்பும் வேறொருவன் அவனுக்குப் பதிலாகத் தோன்றுவான். அவன் எவரது சினத்தின் காரணமாகவோ போர் முனையிலோ சாகாமல், தானே மடிந்து போவான்.
