அனனியா, மீஷாவேல், அசரியா என்னும் தன்னுடைய தோழருக்கு இந்தக் காரியத்தை அறிவித்தான்.

தானியேல் அவனது நண்பர்களிடம் பரலோகத் தேவனிடம் ஜெபிக்குமாறு வேண்டினான். தானியேல் அவர்களிடம் இந்த இரகசியத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ள உதவ கருணைகாட்டுமாறு தேவனிடம் விண்ணப்பிக்கும்படி வேண்டினான். இதனால் பாபிலோனிலுள்ள ஞானிகளோடு தானியேலும், அவனது நண்பர்களும் கொல்லப்படாமல் இருப்பார்கள்.

திருவிவிலியம்
பாபிலோனிய ஞானிகளோடு அவரும் அவர்களுடைய தோழர்களும் கொல்லப்படாதிருக்க, விண்ணகக் கடவுள் கருணை கூர்ந்து அம் மறைபொருளை வெளிப்படுத்தியருள வேண்டுமென்று அவரை மன்றாடுமாறு அவர்களிடம் சொன்னார்.
