அப்பொழுது ராஜாவின் முகம் வேறுபட்டது; அவனுடைய நினைவுகள் அவனைக் கலங்கப்பண்ணினது; அவனுடைய இடுப்பின் கட்டுகள் தளர்ந்தது, அவனுடைய முழங்கால்கள் ஒன்றோடொன்று மோதிக்கொண்டது.

அரசனான பெல்ஷாத்சார் மிகவும் பயந்தான். அவனது முகம் பயத்தால் வெளிறிற்று. அவனது முழங்கால்கள் நடுங்கி இடித்துக்கொண்டன. அவனால் எழுந்து நிற்க முடியவில்லை. ஏனென்றால் அவனது கால்கள் அவ்வளவு பலவீனமாக இருந்தன.
