அந்த ஆட்டுக்கடா மேற்கும் வடக்கும் தெற்கும் பாய்கிறதைக் கண்டேன்; ஒரு மிருகமும் அதின் முன்னே நிற்கக் கூடாதிருந்தது; அதின் கைக்குத் தப்புவிப்பாருமில்லை; அது தன் இஷ்டப்படியே செய்து வல்லமைகொண்டது.

அந்த ஆட்டுக்கடா மேற்கும் வடக்கும் தெற்கும் பாய்கிறதைக் கண்டேன்; ஒரு மிருகமும் அதின் முன்னே நிற்கமுடியாமலிருந்தது; அதின் கைக்குத் தப்புவிப்பவருமில்லை; அது தன் விருப்பப்படியே செய்து வல்லமைகொண்டது.

அந்த செம்மறியாட்டுக்கடா தனது கொம்புகளோடு பாய்ந்ததைப் பார்த்தேன். அந்த ஆட்டுக் கடா மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலுமாக ஓடியதை நான் கவனித்தேன். எந்த மிருகத்தினாலும் இதனைத் தடுக்க முடியவில்லை. மற்ற மிருகங்களை எவராலும் காப்பாற்ற முடியவில்லை. அந்த ஆட்டுக்கடாவால் தன் விருப்பம்போல் செய்ய முடிந்தது. எனவே ஆட்டுக்கடா வல்லமை பெற்றது.

அந்தச் செம்மறிக்கிடாய் தன் கொம்புகளால் மேற்கு நோக்கியும் வடக்கு நோக்கியும் தெற்கு நோக்கியும் பாய்ந்து முட்டுவதைக் கண்டேன். அதன் எதிரே நிற்க எந்த விலங்காலும் இயலவில்லை; அதன் வலிமையிலிருந்து விடுவிக்க வல்லவர் யாருமில்லை. அது தன் விருப்பப்படியே நடந்து தற்பெருமை கொண்டு திரிந்தது.⒫
