அதில் கொள்ளையிட்டதையெல்லாம் அதின் நடுவீதியிலே கூட்டி, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு என்று அந்தப் பட்டணத்தையும், அதின் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டயாவற்றையும் முழுவதும் அக்கினியில் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவாய்; அது இனிக் கட்டப்படாமல், நித்திய மண்மேடாயிருக்கடவது.

பின் நீங்கள் அங்கு கைப்பற்றிய அனைத்துப் பொருட்களையும், விலையுயர்ந்தப் பெருட்களையும், நகரத்தின் நடுப்பகுதிக்குக் கொண்டுவந்து நகரத்தையும் அதிலுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும், தீயிட்டுக் கொளுத்த வேண்டும். அது உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்யும் தகனபலியாகும், அந்த நகரமானது வெறும் வெற்றிடமாக மண்மேடாகவே என்றென்றும் இருக்கும். அந்த நகரம் மீண்டும் கட்டப்படவே கூடாது.
