உபாகமம் 17:6
சாவுக்குப் பாத்திரமானவன் இரண்டு மூன்று சாட்சிகளுடைய வாக்கினால் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்; ஒரே சாட்சியினுடைய வாக்கினால் அவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படலாகாது.

ஆனால் ஒரே ஒரு சாட்சியின் கூற்றைக் கேட்டு நீங்கள் அவனுக்குக் கொலைத் தண்டனையை கொடுத்து விடாதீர்கள். இரண்டு அல்லது மூன்று சாட்சிகள் அவன் இந்த தீயச் செயல்களை செய்தது உண்மைதான் என்று கூறினால், பின் நீங்கள் அந்தத் துரோகியை கொன்றுவிடலாம்.
